Baadshah is a 1999 Bollywood action comedy film directed by Abbas-Mustan. The film stars Shahrukh Khan opposite Twinkle Khanna in lead roles. It released on 27 August 1999, and had an excellent opening at the box office, however didn’t manage to do well upon critics. Shahrukh Khan earned a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Performance in a Comic Role. The storyline has considerable influences of movies such as Mr Nice Guy, Nick of Time and Rush Hour,If Looks Could Kill with scene-for-scene replications of some portions of these movies.
